Ignác Šechtl and Josef Jindřich Šechtl: Prosinec: House No. 516, 9th May Street

This view was taken from a window of Šechtl & Voseček studio. On this photo from 1907 you can see house no. 516, which faced onto 9th May Street. Alexander Seik, the first photographer in Tábor, lived there, sometime collaborator with Tábor’s second photographer, Ignác Šechtl. Seik had passed away by the time this photograph was taken. The long passageway to the left which connects the two houses together contained the Šechtl studio archives.
