The Brotherhood of Firefighters. Celebrating 50 years of the Tábor Fire Brigade and 10 years since the founding of Czechoslovakia; 22nd July, 1928. Programme: 5:00 am, the alarm sounds; 8:30 am, welcome to the visiting groups. 10:00 am, concert in the square; 11:00 am, rehearsal of exercises to be performed. 1:30 pm, form into procession, and march to the Sokol training ground. Brother Truhlář gave a deeply moving speech. Awards were presented to distinguished members of the Brigade. Firefighting exercises, both with axes and with hooks, were demonstrated. The performance of our brother firefighters from Radkov was greatly appreciated. The final act was the unfurling of the national flag, which made a great impression. The beautiful weather added to the festive mood. We thank everyone who contributed to the successful organization of this event.
