Josef Jindřich Šechtl: Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk upon his arrival in the newly founded Czechoslovak Republic at Tábor railway station on December 21, 1918

The arrival of the President of the Liberation, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, in his homeland. Masaryk’s train stopped at the station in Tábor on December 21, 1918 shortly before noon, and in his speech there he said: “Tábor is our programme, and we will remain true to this programme.”
