Name:
Tábor church, after 1897, with neo-Gothic altar
Description:
Probably from 1897, because the Stations of the Cross are not yet present; according to our records, they were acquired in 1898. Václav Hes, parish priest.
Interior of the Tábor deanery church before reconstruction.
Digital reproduction from a 13 × 18 cm glass negative, before 1897.
In 1897, the Church of the Transfiguration on Mount Tábor was renovated according to a design by architect Josef Mocker (who completed St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle). Here the church still has its original Baroque altar.
