Description:
Thanabauer Footbridge, named in honour of Antonín Thanabauer, a supporter of the association and chief inspector of technical control. Construction began in 1919. Landowner Vodňanský supplied the timber free of charge; master carpenter Florian; cost 40,000 guilders. It was opened for use on 21 November 1920; fee 10 h. It was damaged in 1922, 1925 and 1928–29. From 1930 it had reinforced-concrete piers. A major flood swept it away on 16 March 1940. In 1941 it was rebuilt in reinforced concrete, Ing. Štěpán Jež.
