- Pelhřimov, town square
- Description:
- House no. 13 is worth mentioning; it is also known as Fára House after its original owner. This house, originally with a Baroque facade and a mansard roof, contained the inn “U zlatého soudku” (“At the Golden Barrel”). In 1913–1914 it was rebuilt in the Cubist style to a design by the prominent Prague architect Pavel Janák.
Architect Janák left two other buildings in Pelhřimov. He also prepared a design for a Cubist reconstruction of the south side of the square, but only a colour study of this plan survives. Please help us to identify who is on the photograph and date it.
