Czech description: Jihočeská výstava v Táboře 1929 spojená s výstavou československého válečnictví byla
prvním výrazným počinem moderní architektury v Táboře. Autory návrhu výstaviště na
břehu Jordánu, v místech dnešního plaveckého stadionu a Stadionu míru byli mladý
avantgardní architekt Jan Chomutovský a profesor Theodor Petřík, táborský rodák a
manžel první české architektky Milady Petříkové Pavlíkové. Všechny pavilony byly
postavené jako dočasné dřevěné stavby a do současnosti se zachoval jediný, který dnes
slouží jako tělocvična na Stadionu míru.
