Description:: BELOW THE PARKÁNY, 1900. From the picturesque little house on the rock in Čelkovická Street there was a view of the slope below Kotnov, where the villa district had not yet been built. The roof with chimneys down by the river belongs to a house called Fišlovka. The former tannery, later a leather-processing factory, was built by the Jewish entrepreneur Emil Fischel. The factory ceased operation before the Second World War and since then, together with the workers' lodging houses, has served as social housing.
