This is an advertising photograph. My mother, about 18 years old, is handing out some newspapers for free there, which worked. Excellent direction.
My mother in the crowd is the daughter of Václav Želivský – Jaromíra, married name Habartová (born 1914).
I would date the photograph to around 1932. It also exists as a small slide in “color” – an advertisement for the cinema. Mirek Habart.
