The Sechtl family must have stayed in the Grand Hotel Europe in Fiume, as this photo was taken from the balcony or window of that hotel. Molo Adamich with pedestrians can be seen to the left, with ships berthed alongside. If I'm not mistaken, the white ones are s/s LIBURNIA and s/s TÁTRA; I cannot identify the inner black ones. In the background, the breakwater of the port called Molo Maria-Theresia can also be seen. Peter Vaskovicz. Thank you.
