Description:
The "Hloubení" shaft on the "Všech Svatých" ore vein was established in 1893, when the English mining company J. Carrie Struthers Mac Lay was active in the Ratibořské Hory mining district. According to the R. Hrdlička estate in the Hussite Museum in Tábor, the photograph dates from 1899–1900, the period of the last attempts to revive silver mining. The J. Carrie Struthers Mac Lay company operated at the "Hloubení" shaft approximately until 1901.
