In the view from the tower, besides the mentioned circular annex, the Regional House building (later the district administration office) is visible. It was built on the site of three houses that were purchased and demolished in 1834. Tábor was a regional capital only until 1848. The Regional House then became the district administration office and, after 1918, an administrative office. It functioned until 1935, when it was demolished for the construction of the financial offices, today’s municipal office.
