Digital reproduction from a 13 × 18 cm glass negative; after 1900.
Construction of the brewery cellars at the beginning of the 20th century. Reconstruction of the brewery continued throughout the second half of the 19th century and into the beginning of the next. During it, nearly all the buildings of Kotnov Castle and many houses in the castle forecourt were gradually demolished. During excavation of the cellars, remains of a Celtic settlement were also discovered by chance. The cellars are beneath the building that today houses Hotel Dvořák.
