The building of the newly established Royal Czech Academy of Agriculture is decorated with stucco with agricultural motifs designed by Professor Alois Čenský. The park in front of the building has since undergone a series of changes and various sculptures have been added: a meteorological column created by students at the stonemasonry school in Hořice, a bronze monument to Antonín Švehla created by the Tábor sculptor Jan Vítězslav Dušek shortly before the German occupation, and the War and Peace monument created by Luděk Varvažovský after the Second World War.
