House no. 210 on Pražská Street.
Digital reproduction from a 13 × 18 cm glass negative, before 1900.
House no. 210 was built in 1603 in the Flemish Renaissance style. Opposite it stood a small fountain, and the place was called “Na Louži”. If you do not recognize the house, try imagining large windows and shopfronts, envelope-pattern sgraffito, and rich plant and figurative decoration on the gable.
Please help us to identify who is on the photograph.
Year:
Varnishing has been used for collodium wet process negatives (used before the year 1890) but certainly some of later gelatine based negatives are varnished as well (minimally to the year 1901). Help us exactly date this photograph, please!
