- Description:
- itemprop=description>Entrance to Tábor from the south, before 1897–1902. The approach to Tábor from the south led from the ferry over the river Lužnice up the steep slope between the fields to the Bechyně Gate. This gate is the only one that has survived from the fortifications of Tábor. To the right of the gate are Kotnov Tower, a remnant of the medieval castle founded by Přemysl Otakar II, and the newly reconstructed brewery buildings.
