Nostalgic snapshot from around 1900? Not at all.The lady had to wait for the right light conditions to come, for the photographer to prepare his huge camera, and for the image to be transferred to a glass plate. The seemingly natural gait had to be held still some time.

Tržní (Market) Square with view of the water tower. The corner house to the left of the fountain, called Velibradovsky, served as a Jewish prayer hall from around 1640 until Tábor synagogue was built in 1885.
