Ignác Šechtl and Josef Jindřich Šechtl: Jul

Market Square, around 1880. It is still called "Cattle Place" precisely because of it's livestock markets which were conducted there in the past. Houses that you see in the square were rebuilt or demolished. On the horizon, where today you will see the suburb called Prague's, a residential area, army barracks, and major road junction, you then saw only meadows, fields, barns of Šilhan's farm and then unpaved roads to Prague and Písek.
