This series on the farmers’ mounted militia, in 1932, is one of first commercial photo essays Josef Jindřich made on 35 mm film. The number of photographs taken is exceptionally high, and the individual shots are numbered on the negatives, with shots selected for reproduction being marked by cutting away the perforation of the film.
