1945: End of World War II

” — Ninth exhibition of Šechtl & Voseček Museum of Photography.

Photographs from the end of WWII, as well as probably some photographs from WWII itself, were given to Dům Osvety (Communist cultural house) in the 1950s. We have been unable to find out if those photographs are still in existence or if they have been destroyed, so we have chosen to add a few photographs from the end of the war, which Josef Jindřich took using a large format camera. In the middle of the group photograph is Josef Jindřich.
