Josef Jindřich Šechtl: Rowers on the Jordán, 1929

In 1909 fishing was not the only summer fun to be had on the Jordán, but rowing and sailing too: that year saw the establishment of one of the most successful clubs, the Jordán Rowing Club. The picture shows an eight and its crew at the boatyard below the secondary school.
